Brittany Wisehart
Company Director
Brittany Wisehart is a dynamic dance professional, choreographer, and arts educator whose journey began in Oviedo, Florida. During her formative years, she had the privilege of working with acclaimed choreographers Katy Tate and Sonya Tayeh. Her exceptional talent earned her a scholarship with Tremaine Dance Conventions, where she was selected for the Tremaine Performance Company and personally assisted Joe Tremaine. Through this experience, she trained under dance legends including Wade Robson, Chita Rivera, Paula Abdul, Josh Bergasse, Barry Lather, and Sheryl Murakami—Beyoncé’s choreographer for “Run the World (Girls).”
As a Florida State Golden Girl, Brittany represented her home state on So You Think You Can Dance Season 9, advancing as a Top 37 female. She furthered her dance training at Valencia College, where she earned her Associate of Arts in Dance Performance. While there, she performed principal roles in works by José Limón, Alvin Ailey, Jon Lehrer, David Parsons, Paul Taylor, and Pilobolus. She has been a long-time company member and guest artist with Orlando’s Yow Dance Company.
In 2017, Brittany completed the Broadway Dance Center’s prestigious Professional Semester in New York City, working closely with top choreographers such as Al Blackstone, Karla Garcia, Nijawwon Matthews, and Charlie Sutton. Her talent and professionalism led her to a career shift as a dance agent with CESD Talent Agency, where she represented dancers, choreographers, and creatives across theatre, film, and television.
Returning to Florida, Brittany embraced her dual passions for dance and leadership. She has choreographed and taught throughout Central Florida and currently serves as the Company Director at Odyssey Dance Company and the Director of Education and Analytics at Chance 2 Dance, a nonprofit dedicated to inclusive dance programming. She holds certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique and Inclusion/Special Needs Instruction.
Brittany earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Leadership from Valencia College and is now pursuing her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics.
